    Interested in a Career in Filmmaking?
    Interested in starting a career in Digital Filmmaking? Detroit filmmaker, Darren Brown announces The Center for Digital Filmmaking, the first digital filmmaking course located within the city of Detroit. They will offer 10-12 weeks of hands-on training in digital filmmaking. The focus is to not only get a job in the industry, but start a real, life-long career in filmmaking. This will be the only course of its kind in the city of Detroit.

    The course will be 12 weeks long, three days a week. Course lessons will include hands on training for topics like the basics of video production, lighting, green screening, creative writing, creating a budget and casting, as well as preparation for the shoot. Industry professionals will be available to assist all students in the production of their projects. All materials and equipment will be provided.

    The Center for Digital Filmmaking is fully supported by TechTown, a non-profit organization created by WSU, GM, and the Henry Ford Health System.
