It's a Wonderful Life

November 28th - December 20th
The town of Bedford Falls comes to life from November 28 through December 20 as the Farmington Players present It's a Wonderful Life. This stage adaptation of Frank Capra's classic holiday film is a treat the whole family can enjoy together, and is a wonderful way to focus on the joys of the holiday season in the midst of these trying economic times.
Director John Boufford (Auburn Hills) has assembled a cast of 32 local actors to tell the timeless and heart-warming story.
It's a Wonderful Life follows George Bailey (Keith Janoch of Farmington Hills) who fears that his life has been a failure and is ready to end it all on Christmas Eve. Fortunately, George's guardian angel, Clarence (Thomas Adams of Royal Oak), shows George that the help he has given others throughout his life has made a real difference in the small community of Bedford Falls and that the love and respect he has earned are worth far more than money.
By the end of the show George is reunited with his wife (Jan Forhan of Commerce Township), children (Allie Walter of Canton, siblings Paul and Lydia Forhan of Commerce Township, and Ben Lauter of Farmington Hills), and Clarence earns his angel wings! George's journey ends with the meaningful realization that no man is a failure who has friends.
This is a family-friendly show, so bring your children, grandchildren, and anyone else who you want to share a special holiday memory with.
It's a Wonderful Life opens the day after Thanksgiving (November 28) and continues with shows on November 29, November 30 (sold out), December 5, 6 (sold out), 7 (sold out), 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, and 20. All shows begin at 8 p.m. except for Sunday shows, which begin at 2 p.m.
