Out of This World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television

The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan will present Out of This World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television October 11, 2008 through January 11, 2009 at Henry Ford Museum. This exhibit is free with membership or admission to Henry Ford Museum.

Organized by the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame in Seattle, Out of This World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television features more than 40 costumes and related memorabilia from such blockbuster films as:
 
The Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Blade Runner, Terminator and Batman and popular television programs such as Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. The exhibition explores wardrobe design and how, throughout the years, costumes have become just as iconic as the stars who have worn them.
