Violinist Christian Tetzlaff

Violinist Christian Tetzlaff takes the stage of the Seligman Performing Arts Center on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at 8 p.m. for a program of unaccompanied works by Johann Sebastian Bach. The concert is presented by the Chamber Music Society of Detroit. 

At the December 6 concert, Mr. Tetzlaff will present the following all Bach program:

Sonata No. 2 in A minor, BWV 1003
Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004
Sonata No. 3 in C major, BWV 1005
Partita No. 3 in E major, BWV 1006

Christian Tetzlaff is internationally recognized as one of the most important violinists of his generation for his compelling interpretations of works from J.S. Bach to Alban Berg and beyond. In 2005, he was named "Instrumentalist of the Year" by the magazine Musical America.

Tickets-

Seligman Performing Arts Center is located at 22305 West 13 Mile Road (at the corner of Lahser and 13 Mile Roads), Beverly Hills, on the campus of the Detroit Country Day School.
