The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan will present Out of This World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television October 11, 2008 through January 11, 2009 at Henry Ford Museum. This exhibit is free with membership or admission to Henry Ford Museum.

6th Annual Blankets For Aids Drive

Each year, Higher Ground works with community organizations and business leaders to collect new blankets and/or cash donations so that our volunteers can distribute new blankets to people living with HIV/AIDS.

Global Impact- Detroit Roots

The Ralph J. Bunche Repository announces the opening of the Ralph Bunche: Global Impact – Detroit Roots exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum. Originally displayed at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., the exhibit will be on display from Saturday, November 22 through March 8, 2009.

It's a Wonderful Life

The town of Bedford Falls comes to life from November 28 through December 20 as the Farmington Players present It's a Wonderful Life. This stage adaptation of Frank Capra's classic holiday film is a treat the whole family can enjoy together, and is a wonderful way to focus on the joys of the holiday season in the midst of these trying economic times.
