Hello World,

SO on May 8th, 2008, I found out that I WON CW50's "Detroit TOP MODEL" contest. As you all should know, I was ECSTATIC! Ever since the day I found out I won, I have just been SO HAPPY! I mean, who wouldn't be happy?! First of all it was already a great feeling when I found out that I even made it to the top 20 finalists...but to WIN? As confident as I may I have seemed throughout the experience in all actuality I was sweating BULLETS. I mean I've never won anything Huge in my life at ALL lol. And let's face it the competition (as Tyra would say) was "Fierrrceee".

The day I found out that I won, had to be the best day of my life besides my Graduation. I found out through email and couldn't believe what I was reading. The words "Congratulations…you have been selected as our Detroit Top Model!!" were just so surreal for me to read! I couldn't BELIEVE it. I was going to have a Magazine spread, (Not just ANY magazine spread but Ambassador Magazine) Diamond Earrings from Zeidman's, A full day Spa treatment from Douglas J. Aveda Institute and The Bragging RIGHTS as Detroit's Top Model. Does life GET any better than this? YES it does lol. I found out the day of the shoot because the whole staff was AWESOME!

The Make-up was the BEST! Photographers were the GREATEST and the Clothes were gorgeous. I felt Glamorous..just like every girl should! This whole experience has been a dream and hopefully this is only the beginning for me. You'll see my face again I hope. And I'd love to thank EVERYBODY that voted for me, even if you voted ONCE. If you voted Daily you get an EXTRA thank you and I won't let you down! I'd also like to thank CW50, Ambassador Magazine, Zeidman's, Douglas J. Aveda Institute and Remy Indian Hair for supplying me with the greatest Prizes Ever!!
